Dear Forum Users,

It is with regret, tinged with relief, that we announce that we've closed the Ask an Atheist forums.

We started the forums about a year ago, at the request of several of our listeners who wanted more interaction with Ask an Atheist. We offered the option of a chat room, a MUD, or a forum, and the overwhelming majority of folks opted for a forum. Ask an Atheist listeners are saner than we thought.

To be honest, of the three of us, only one has extensive forum experience, and we weren't sure we were going to have the time to run a forum in addition to doing the business of the show. As the show takes off, we're discovering just how true that is. So we're shuttering it for now. It may return in the future if there's a lot of support out there.

But that doesn't mean we don't want to hear from you! In fact, we've completely rebuilt the Ask an Atheist website to include prominent and threadded comments and discussion. We hope the new site will help foster more and better discussion of all things Ask an Atheist, and perhaps some other things as well.

If there's something on the forum that you'd like to have a copy of, feel free to drop us a line and look through the database for it.
